36 week bump date

Friday, June 27, 2014

How far along: 36 weeks(measuring 37)

Size of baby: Large Cantaloupe

Baby's size and weight: 6 lbs or more at this point and 19-22 in.

My total weight gain: 31 pounds! Hurry up Brynn so momma stops becoming a cow!

Baby's development: Starting to shed her downy hair and vernix caseosa. All of her systems are pretty much ready for her to make her appearance.

Stretch marks: None.

Wedding Ring: Has days where it'll fit and days where it won't.

Belly Button: Flat except pokes out at the top by where my belly button was pierced.

Maternity clothes: Basically maternity jeans/capris, but can fit into regular stuff.

Gender: Sweet baby girl! :D

Movement: All the time. They have turned into more rolls. Sometimes it feels like an alien is going to pop out ;)

Sleep: So so

What I miss: No swelling and fitting into clothes. Not much longer, praise Jesus!

Food cravings: Lots of fruit, sno cones, and chick fil a.

Symptoms: Pressure, some back pain, and random feet/ankle swelling. Braxton hicks here and there.

Brad isstill the sweetest man. Rubs my feet(and he hates feet bad) and back whenever I ask.

What I'm looking forward to: My sweet friend Natties wedding today in Dallas, Tuesdays appt. to see if I've dilated, and house sitting for family friends with a pool! FIGURING OUT WHEN SHE WILL MAKE HER APPEARANCE.

Best moments: Getting to watch my belly go crazy with movements instead of just feeling them. Getting moved to weekly appt. just means we are SO close!

Reasons I've cried so far while pregnant

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

-I washed Brads wallet.
-Little cheerleaders at the halftime show for ASU basketball.
-Friends getting engaged at church.
-Allie(our fur baby) wouldn't listen.
-Breast cancer survivor making out with her husband at the Rodeo.
-Because my mom and grandma were crying.
-Allie ate cat poop.
-Brynn on the sono screen every single time.
-My best friend Renee passed her Nail Technician Certification test.
-Feeling Brynn move for the first time.
-Being tired and hungry all at once.
-James from Scandal dying. I literally uncontrollably cried and could't stop even when the show ended.
-My cat getting poop on the freshly washed floors.
-All the beautiful things people had to say at the baby shower in cards/books.
-A cat scratching my pup Allies eye.
-Because I was so hot and couldn't find a pool to go to.
-Thinking about Brad leaving 2 months from now.

Basically I've been quite the basket case and I think they may just get worse until she arrives in a month from now. :P

Home is wherever I am with you

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

Well, it's that time of year again where Brad signs and figures out where our new home will be come fall. In August he will be leaving to…... Mersch, Luxembourg! Brynn and I will meet Brad end of October after we do our traveling around for everyone to meet her. We knew we needed to stay back for 2 months so that way everyone can meet her before she is a year the next time we come home. We went through every emotion when Brad was picking which team he should sign with for this year. When bringing a sweet babe into our world traveling equation you think about it a lot more. We weren't sure if we would even go back again. Boy am I glad he chose to continue playing. I know that while she is young is the perfect time to do this. Especially since, lets be real, he is no where near done playing. He would end up telling Brynn, "Daddy could have taken you all over the world." God has healed Brads knee fast and to it's full potential. We had prayed abundantly about what would be the right step and team for his come back. God truly formed this contract to be absolutely perfect with our little family. They were willing to give Brad whatever he needed. From everything to an actual 2 bedroom house with a yard, an automatic car instead of standard, and to the small, but huge thing of a crib and high chair for miss Brynn. God knew the desires of our hearts and specially picked us for this city, country, and team. Brad has a friend from high school that lives 50 minutes away and of course they are already planning all that they will do. So happy to actually go there knowing someone! We are already ahead of ourselves all the other times. Paris is about 3 hours away and Brussels is 2 in a half away. Better believe we ail be marking HUGE things off our bucket list. Luxembourg is absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to step foot off the plane as a family of 3 taking on everything Europe has to offer us.

Can not wait to lay our eyes on this in person!
