European Christmas Markets of 2014

Friday, January 9, 2015

I feel like it's only right to make a post reminiscing on all the gorgeous Christmas markets we went to this year. Wishing America had more markets with all the tasty food, drinks, different souvenir type gifts, and tons of activities. We indulged in tons of it this year and I couldn't be any happier about that. We are sad to see them go and can not wait until next years!

Luxembourg City

Trier, Germany

Paris, France

We also saw the markets in Brussels and Bruges, but I was silly and cold so didn't take pictures. There was lots of waffles and fun in around those markets as well!

All of you need to get your booties to a European Christmas Market ASAP!

A little throwback to Prague, Czech Republic. It was one of my favorites from back in 2012. So, I would start there.

Well, I'm off to go scoop up my mom from the airport for a 10 day visit! Excuse me while I become MIA and soak up every minute. Have a great weekend lovies.

Oh Christmas Tree

Thursday, December 4, 2014

Oh Christmas tree how lovely are your fake expensive branches….

After searching high and low we finally got our hands on a tree for the apartment on Monday. I was almost sure Lux wanted me to 1. kill a tree and 2. tie it on top of our car to get it home. It actually all worked out that we found a small artificial tree. This one is the perfect size for our small place and it'll last us up until the New Year. I mean it's only right to keep it up until then.

Before decorating you bet ya we had to pull off our sad attempt for a Pinterest picture with Brynn. It took all we had to make her keep them out of her mouth. Hence the blurry hand.

And our typical put some ornaments on the tree pic…

Two broken ornaments resulted in the taking of these photos.

Somewhere along the way we also lost our tree topper…

I sure do love our overseas adventures, especially during the holidays. Thank you Jesus for Brynns first Christmas Tree and being able to enjoy it daily.

Last, but not least our Pinterest project of Brynnies 'Mistletoes'. Cutest ones I've seen by far.

Here's to hoping we come back next year to get our moneys worth out of this tree and being in full Christmas spirit!

Merry Christmas from the North/Reese Family!

Thursday, December 26, 2013

We were so pleased to find out we would be home for Christmas! We were able to continue our normal family traditions with my parents! We had church Christmas Eve followed by friends over for food and games. This morning we opened presents then made our traditional roll ups! Roll ups are pretty much like crepes, thin with lots of butter and sugar! Yummy! We ate an early lunch around 4 with Ham, mashed potatoes, baked beans, rolls, fruit and pumpkin pie! All of our favorites for Christmas since we get enough turkey on Thanksgiving! We lay in our PJ's all day watching basketball to finish the blessed day off!

It's always such a relaxing day of remembering that Jesus is the reason! Blessed to have a lord and savior that that is so forgiving and loving every day of the year! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! Here's the pictures from our few days of festivities:)

We Celebrated my beset friends nieces birthday on Christmas Eve! I can't believe she is already 11! I have known her since before she was born and she has become a sweet, beautiful young lady!

Christmas Wish List

Friday, November 22, 2013

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year and since it is right around the corner though I would do a wish list! IF we were buying presents for each other this year Brad would be lucky to read this and have this handed to him. Oh wait, I do that anyway. Our initial plan was to take a trip to Paris or Rovaniemi here in Finland in lieu of gifts. Now we don't exactly know where we will be just yet for the Christmas with his surgery coming up and healing time BUT, we can always carry these items on to Valentines, My Birthday and Our Anniversary. ;)

These four things I have swooned over for quite some time now! J.Crew killed it with that vest. It is perfect in my eyes.

What are you ladies asking for this year?
