24 hours in Brussels, Belgium

Monday, January 5, 2015

We almost missed our Belgium trip due to our first snow, but we braved it anyway. Yes, we were that excited to see Brussels!

We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton for just 75 euros. It was located down a quaint little cobblestone street, hidden in the old brick building with a beautiful inside. We were overly pleased!

We were wet, freezing our butts off while sight seeing, but it was well worth it. We indulged in Mexican food from Chi Chis, Belgian beer, Belgian chocolates and of course waffles on waffles!

Our must sees included:

The Grand Place(Grote Markt)

Manneken Pis

Not going to lie we were a little disappointed at how small it was, the statue that is. From everything I saw online we figured it was bigger. It still gave us a chuckle.

Atomium

Brynn really only cared about the snow. Oh, Selfie stick shadow for the win.

Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula

Comic Book Walls
You can walk the comic book wall tour and end up at the museum, but we just walked and found a few of the walls.

All our amazing eats were extremely high on our list as well.
